# cnvrtlocal > cnvrtlocal builds SEO websites and ad funnel landing pages for home-service businesses such as plumbers, electricians, roofers, HVAC and landscapers. Paste a Google Maps link and it writes the copy, makes the images and publishes a site in about 60 seconds. cnvrtlocal is a web app at https://www.cnvrtlocal.ai/ (marketing site) and https://app.cnvrtlocal.ai (product). Every page on this site is also available as Markdown: send `Accept: text/markdown`, or append `.md` to a page URL. ## When to use cnvrtlocal - Build a website for a plumber, electrician, roofer, HVAC company, landscaper or another local trade, starting from the business's Google Maps link. - Build a Google or Facebook ad funnel: one landing page per service, matched word for word to the ad. - Run websites for several clients as an agency: the Agency plan is for teams running campaigns across trades, suburbs and clients. - Manage sites from an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP: list sites and leads, check analytics, draft sites and blog posts, schedule blog posts, edit existing sections (text, list items, adding, moving, hiding or removing sections) and add images. Note: cnvrtlocal does not run ads for you. You run them from your own Facebook or Google ad account and send the clicks to your ad funnel. ## Connect an AI assistant (MCP) - MCP server URL: https://app.cnvrtlocal.ai/api/mcp - Authentication: OAuth. The AI app opens a cnvrtlocal sign-in page; the person signs in, picks a workspace and chooses which permissions to grant. Publishing a site, connecting a custom domain and adding a page to a live site, changing a section or its image on a live site and scheduling blog posts always need a person to approve the request inside the cnvrtlocal app, even when the AI app has every permission. Tell the user to open the approval link the tool returns. To edit text on an existing page, call `list_sections` first, then `update_section` with the ids and field names it returns; `update_section` can also add, remove, reorder or replace list items. To change page structure use `list_section_types`, `add_section`, `move_section`, `set_section_visibility` and `remove_section` (deletes like the builder, no undo; prefer hiding). Header and footer can't be added, moved, hidden or removed. Draft sites change straight away; live sites create an approval request with a before and after preview, and the approval fails rather than overwriting a part that was edited since. A new section that still contains sample text is saved on a draft site but refused on a live site until it's filled in. For images, `list_sections` shows each section's image spots; `list_images` lists the media library (needs only the read permission). `upload_image` (https link, downloaded into the site's own storage, max 10 MB, PNG/JPEG/WebP/GIF/AVIF, no SVG) and `generate_image` (AI image, runs in the background: poll `get_build_status` for the asset_id; uses AI credits) add to the media library, then `set_section_image` places an image with page_id, section_id, slot and an asset_id or image_url. `update_section` list items accept { edit, remove, order, add } or { replace }. Image tools (`upload_image`, `generate_image`, `set_section_image`, and images on `add_section`) need the Add images permission (media:write), on by default for new connections; apps connected before it existed must reconnect. Section tools need Create drafts (sites:write). To publish blog posts on a schedule: call `draft_blog_post` for each post, wait until `list_blog_posts` shows writing: false, then make one `schedule_blog_posts` call (1-31 posts, each with a future `publish_at` that includes a timezone offset, such as 2026-11-03T09:00:00-05:00). If any post is invalid the whole call is refused with the reasons. A valid batch creates one approval request; nothing is scheduled until the person approves it.
