Connect your AI (MCP)
Set up your AI app
Add the cnvrtlocal MCP link to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex or VS Code.
On this page
You need a cnvrtlocal account and an AI app that supports remote MCP servers. Guest (not signed up) accounts can't connect an AI app.
Your link
Every app uses the same link:
https://app.cnvrtlocal.ai/api/mcp
The easy way: the Connect your AI card
In cnvrtlocal, open Settings, then Integrations, then Connect your AI. The card shows the link and the current steps for each app. Menu names in AI apps change from time to time, so the card is always the most up to date.
Claude
- Open Claude's settings and find where you add a custom connector.
- Paste
https://app.cnvrtlocal.ai/api/mcpas the link. - When asked, sign in to cnvrtlocal.
- Pick your workspace, choose what Claude may do, and choose Allow access.
ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT's settings and find where you add a connector or app.
- Paste
https://app.cnvrtlocal.ai/api/mcpas the link. - When asked, sign in to cnvrtlocal.
- Pick your workspace, choose what ChatGPT may do, and choose Allow access.
Cursor, Codex and VS Code
Any app that supports remote MCP servers works. In Cursor, add this to your mcp.json file:
{
"mcpServers": {
"cnvrtlocal": {
"url": "https://app.cnvrtlocal.ai/api/mcp"
}
}
}
Then connect. You'll be taken to a cnvrtlocal page to sign in and allow access.
For Codex and VS Code, add a remote MCP server in the app's settings or config and use the same link.
Check it works
Ask your AI app to run whoami. It should tell you your workspace, plan, AI credits left and what it's allowed to do. Then try "list my sites".
To change the words on a page, ask your AI to edit a section. It looks up the sections first, then makes the change. See Editing sections.
To add a section, move one or add an image, ask your AI in plain words, like "add an FAQ section" or "use this photo as the hero image". See Adding, moving and removing sections and Images.
To publish blog posts on a schedule, ask your AI to write the posts and then schedule them. You approve the schedule in cnvrtlocal. See Scheduling blog posts.
