Using cnvrtlocal
Publishing and domains
Go live on a free cnvrtlocal.site address or connect your own domain.
On this page
Go live
When your site looks right, choose Publish in the editor. You'll see a message that your site is live, with a link you can copy and share.
After that, change anything you like and publish again.
Your free address
Every site gets a free address that looks like this:
yourname.cnvrtlocal.site
You choose the first part in the Domains tab. This is included on every plan, including Free.
Connect your own domain
Want yourbusiness.com instead? Custom domains are on the Sole Trader and Agency plans. See Plans and billing.
- Open your site and go to the Domains tab.
- Enter your domain, like
acme-roofing.com. A subdomain likead.acme-roofing.comworks too. - Choose Connect.
- We show you the DNS records to add. Add them where you bought your domain.
- When it's ready, the domain shows as Connected.
If you cancel
If a paid plan ends and you drop to Free, custom domains stop working. Your free cnvrtlocal.site address stays.
Connecting through your AI app
If you use the MCP server, your AI app can ask to publish or connect a domain, but a person has to approve it. See Approvals.
